The color “Red” is part of our Spring 2012 collection.

In China, Red is the color of good luck, happiness, joy, and for brides, since it is of energy as symbolized by fire. Yellow traditionally the color used for imperial service and the first Emperor is called The Yellow Emperor. Blue is the color of immortality. Blue and Green are the symbols of Spring.
Symbols are often brocaded into the oriental brocade fabric and each symbol has a different meaning, such as:
- Bamboo – Longevity, since it grows year round and is green even in the hardest of winters. Also symbolic of strength, flexibility, and plenty.
- Fish – Plenty. Buddhist symbol of good fortune.
- Plum Flowers – Symbol of Winter and longevity. The five gods of luck are symbolized by the 5 plum blossoms.
Tigers - In China are the kings of the animal kingdom. They are seen as a symbol of wealth and vigor.
